7 reasons why every child should learn martial arts
Learn the benefits of martial arts for your kids development.
1. Positive & Respectful Attitudes:
Kids in SMASH programs learn to have a positive and respectful attitude. Kids are taught in an informative yet fun way to overcome a child’s natural tendency to defy authority. You won’t find yourself repeating over and over, or arguing with your child like most parents do. Kids learn to be respectful to their parents and teachers. You might even catch your child saying Yes Ma’am or Yes Sir!
2. Improved Report Cards:
SMASH curriculum is designed to teach children the importance of focus and concentration. Improved concentration means that your child will learn more at school. Therefore you can expect your child to receive better grades for both academics and attitude.
3. Build Healthy Kids:
It is a great workout! Your child will breathe better and sleep better. Children who take martial arts at SMASH are slimmer, make better decisions about food, and in general, learn to take better care of themselves.
4. Self-Confidence:
Kids who take martial arts develop better self-confidence. The success they experience in martial arts teaches them that they can be successful at anything if they truly believe they can and are willing to work hard. Improved confidence leads to better circle of friends and better performance in sports in general.
5. The Kids Having Fun:
Kids in SMASH had lots of fun in our programs. They learn skills, coordination and balance through play and games. Our instructors are experienced and fully trained to handle kids. Your children will be having much fun with specialized supervision.
6. Self-Defense:
Your child will learn to improve his or her strength and flexibility. Martial arts teach your child to spot danger and avoid dangerous people, places and activities. In certain occasions, you child knows how to protect themselves.
7. Parental Involvement:
Parents are encouraged to join the class with a child if possible. Since both are studying the same arts, then it will be great for Mom and Dad to spend time helping the child attain his belt ranking. Parents can help their child to practice at home too.
